Family Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Judy Allen moved to New Mexico for family and friends.
She completed her Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of New Mexico, with a focus in Nurse-Midwifery. She returned to UNM for a Post-Master’s Certificate to become board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
PRP is the most recent step in Judy’s healing career. She has been a registered nurse for 37 years, Nurse Midwife for 3 years, and Nurse Practitioner for 19 years. Her expertise is in complimentary and integrative medicine. She has experience in women’s health with focus on bio-identical hormone replacement. Woven into that career are Therapeutic Touch, Homeopathy, Guided Imagery, Myofascial Trigger Point therapy and Reiki. Judy Allen was certified as a Hoshindo Ryoho (practitioner) in February of 2014 following 16 months of training and apprenticeship. This practice involves using honeybees in healing.
She is committed to helping people maintain optimal health, including healthy sexual functioning, throughout the aging process.
Judy enjoys keeping honeybees, gardening, hiking, dancing, reading, Qi Gong, and visiting with family and friends.
